They first sat side by side in commuter silence. Callum noticed the logo on Tanya’s jacket, put two and two together and asked his trainer about her. One intro later, they were off. He’s the homebody who’s happiest with a book or a good series. She’s the get-out-the-door ringleader who can and will drag him to the fun. Tanya rarely drinks but, when she does, she’s determined. He’s a Libra who doesn’t believe in star signs, she’s a Scorpio who absolutely does. Somehow it balances out just right.
Their wedding at Dunbar House in Watsons Bay, with Sydney Harbour peeking through the trees, felt like them from the first hello. Sydney wedding MC Nathan Cassar kept the room humming, warm and unforced, the kind of hosting that lets everyone relax into the night while the little details quietly happen in the background.
A few moments stood out. Nathan’s True or False game landed perfectly, with their nearest and dearest cackling as the answers rolled out. Later, a structured dancing medley turned the floor into a happy mess of friends and aunties, the kind where even the shy ones get claimed for a spin. When it was time to go, they slipped through a grand exit between two lines of cheers, the easiest walk out into married life.
Tanya and Callum, from a quiet train ride to a loud dance floor, keep doing it your way. Onward, together.

“Where do we begin.. Nathan was nothing short of amazing. Initially we were in two minds about hiring an MC and thought that we would just have a friend play that role. However, with the risk of COVID restrictions we decided to look into hiring a professional MC, and weren’t we lucky that we did! Nathan was so professional, organised, and engaging.
Leading up to our special day, he provided us great options/ activities to keep the guests entertained throughout the night, in addition to running the usual flow of a reception. He also provided his thoughts on how we could restructure the flow so that it was entertaining and allowed enough dance time
We wouldn’t fault anything about Nathans service leading up to the event and once the big day came. All our guests were raving about the MC throughout the night and thereafter.
