Venue: Curzon Hall
Some love stories begin with a glance across a crowded room. For Nora and Ed, it all started in a tiny local gym filled mostly with elderly regulars. One day, Ed spotted Nora, the only young Asian woman in sight, and was instantly intrigued. Determined to learn her name, he made up a cheeky excuse about a fictional loan and convinced the receptionist to help him track her down. There aren’t many “Nora’s” in the world, after all.
Their beginnings were anything but smooth. Ed offered unsolicited lifting advice, thinking Nora was working out near him on purpose. Nora, on the other hand, remembers trying to avoid “that Korean gym bro” (he’s not). But despite the misunderstandings, a real connection formed. They officially began dating in 2017 and got engaged in November 2022.
Nora and Ed celebrated their big day at the magnificent Curzon Hall, surrounded by family, friends, and a rich blend of Chinese, Burmese, and Cambodian heritage. With Sydney wedding MC Nathan Cassar guiding the night with energy and flair, their celebration was heartfelt, elegant, and full of memorable moments.

Ed & Nora’s Review

“Nathan was very responsive and helpful in the wedding planning process. He is very experienced and knows what timing will work and what won’t when we were organising the reception runsheet. I even had a guest comment on how his MCing style is very funny and laidback and she wanted to know how we found him!”
